Figure skating RUNNING (PROGRESSIVE, RUN) dance step. For a forward stroke, it fully corresponds to a forward sweep. On the backward move, push back outwards with the foot that is in the circle, into the closed cross position in front, then push back with the foot outside the circle into the lunge position.
