Cycling race a high-speed cycling competition. One-day tour is held for one day. A multi-day program is held for several days. The six-day race is held over six run-offs for professionals and six days for amateurs. The pair race is held by teams of two riders, of which alternately one necessarily leads the race, and the other rests. The elimination race is held by a team, each rider who has completed his lap is eliminated from the competition, or it is held by a group, when the last rider is eliminated at each successive interval finish.
