Figure skating HOOK (ROCKER) a step used mainly in ice dancing. This is a turn on one leg with a change of direction of movement without changing the edge, but with a change of arc. First, the athlete moves, for example, on the right leg forward outwards, and then makes a turn and continues to move on the right leg back outwards. The hook is made in the direction of the "incoming" arc.
